Common Questions
How does the inventory sync work?
Alertr fetches your product variants and recent orders from Shopify's API once daily (or when you click "Sync Now"). It calculates how fast each SKU is selling and estimates when stock will run out.
How are sell rates calculated?
Sell rate = total units sold in your lookback window (default 30 days) divided by the number of days. You can adjust the lookback period in Settings.
How do alerts work?
After each scheduled sync, Alertr checks if any SKUs fall below your configured thresholds. If conditions are met, it sends an alert to the email addresses and/or Slack webhook you've configured in Settings. You can control how often alerts are sent — from twice a day to once a week. Manual "Sync Now" refreshes your data only and does not trigger alerts.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free: Up to 50 SKUs, dashboard and sync only.
Pro ($29/month): Unlimited SKUs, email and Slack alerts, CSV export. Includes a 14-day free trial.
How do I uninstall?
Go to your Shopify admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → Alertr → Remove. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
