Common questions

Shopify admin shows you what you have right now. It doesn't tell you what's about to run out, how fast it's selling, or when to reorder. You'd have to check every product, every day, and do the maths yourself. Alertr does that automatically — it calculates days of stock left for every SKU based on actual sell rate, and only alerts you when something needs your attention.
Spreadsheets work until they don't — usually around 100+ SKUs or when you add a second supplier. The problem isn't the spreadsheet itself, it's that it only updates when you update it. If you miss a week, or a product starts selling faster than expected, you don't find out until you're already out. Alertr syncs daily and does the calculation automatically, so nothing slips through.
Flow triggers when inventory hits a static number — "alert me at 10 units." But 10 units of a product selling 50/day is a 5-hour emergency. 10 units of something selling 1/week is fine for two months. Flow doesn't know the difference. Alertr calculates days of stock left based on your actual sell rate and factors in supplier lead times, so you get the alert at the right moment.
